What is a Goose in Goosehold?
Your Goose is your outward Goosehold identity. It is the profile and handle other people can recognise and interact with on social Goosehold surfaces. The account behind it is your GooseID.

Why separate the profile from the account?
A public or social profile does not need to contain everything required to run an account safely. Goosehold keeps the idea of the Goose people see distinct from the GooseID used for sign-in, security, age rules and service permissions.
Current Commons status: the open Goosehold Commons social layer is currently 18+. Child accounts use protected Goosehold services rather than appearing in the adult Commons graph.
