What is GooseID?
GooseID is Goosehold’s account and identity layer. It is designed so connected services can recognise the same person without each service creating a completely separate account.
One sign-in
Use one GooseID across connected Goosehold services rather than remembering another account for every surface.
Account security
GooseID supports email verification, password recovery, authenticator MFA, recovery codes and signed-in session management.
Age-aware access
Capabilities can change with age and account policy without requiring a new identity. Adult-only surfaces remain separate from protected child services.
Permission-based connection
Connected apps request the access they need. GooseID uses OAuth-style authorisation with PKCE for supported service hand-offs.
GooseID, Goose and Goosehold
GooseID is the private account. Your Goose is the profile and handle other people meet. Goosehold is the wider network they both belong to.
